Lully

Lully aimed to revolutionize children's sleep through innovative, clinically-validated consumer products designed to improve sleep quality for children and their families. Their initial offering, the Sleep Guardian, employed a patented technology involving precisely-timed vibrations delivered via an under-the-mattress device to proactively prevent night terror episodes. This product represented the first in a planned suite of smart solutions, leveraging a user-centered design approach combined with a deep clinical understanding of sleep to address unmet needs in the pediatric sleep market.

Founded in San Francisco by Dr. Andy Rink, a physician and parent, and Varun Boriah, an experienced medical device entrepreneur, Lully emerged from the Stanford Biodesign Fellowship. The company received backing from prominent investors, including Y Combinator, Two Sigma Ventures, Stanford-StartX Fund, and Highway1, and collaborated with leading institutions such as Stanford Sleep and Riley Children's Hospital to achieve its mission of enhancing sleep for families.
