Vision-related diseases are a leading cause of preventable blindness worldwide. A significant portion of the global population, including the 415 million diabetic patients susceptible to Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) and Glaucoma, are at risk. Existing screening methods for these diseases typically rely on ophthalmologists manually diagnosing patients through visual examination of the fundus. However, with the growing number of individuals with diabetes and other risk factors, this approach is costly, inefficient, and places a considerable strain on eye clinics and healthcare systems. There is a need for more accessible and efficient screening solutions to address this critical healthcare challenge.
