Ravn is a DefenseTech company dedicated to enhancing soldier capabilities through advanced technology. They are developing a state-of-the-art heads-up display designed to provide soldiers with a significant tactical advantage, enabling them to see around corners and react to threats while remaining safely behind cover. This lightweight display seamlessly integrates video feeds from various sources, including cameras mounted on weapons, drones, robots, and other external platforms, offering soldiers a comprehensive view of their surroundings. Ravn envisions its heads-up display becoming an indispensable tool, serving as a soldier's most trusted and relied-upon computer in the field. The team consists of four highly experienced professionals, each bringing unique expertise to the company. Jake, the Founder, is a former Navy SEAL with deep understanding of the market and product requirements. Karl Guttag, the Chief Science Officer, is a recognized industry leader in optics and display technology. The VPs of Software and Hardware are seasoned experts in their respective domains. Ravn's core technology focus encompasses peer-to-peer applications, near-eye optics and displays, cameras/sensors/IoT integration, and user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design for both hardware and software components.
