Prometheus

Prometheus is pioneering the production of zero net carbon electrofuels by extracting CO2 and water directly from the atmosphere. Utilizing electricity generated from renewable solar and wind power, these elements are synthesized into sustainable gasoline, diesel, and jet fuels. These electrofuels are designed to seamlessly integrate with existing transportation infrastructure, functioning in current vehicles and aircraft without any engine modifications. A key advantage is their environmental impact: because they recycle atmospheric CO2, they do not contribute to global warming. Every gallon of Prometheus' electrofuels directly displaces a gallon of fossil fuel, leaving it untouched in the ground. Critically, Prometheus has achieved price competitiveness with fossil fuels; their zero net carbon jet fuel is priced one cent per gallon lower than its fossil counterpart. American Airlines has already placed an order for 10 million gallons, with shipments scheduled to commence next year, marking a significant step towards sustainable aviation.
