Nomiku

Nomiku, established in 2012, pioneered the development of a connected, at-home sous vide immersion circulator. Committed to quality, Nomiku's products were manufactured in the United States and gained recognition within both home kitchens and professional culinary environments. The company successfully democratized sous vide cooking, previously exclusive to high-end restaurants, by creating an accessible and affordable device for home use. This innovation was initially funded through two successful Kickstarter campaigns, raising over $1.3 million. By 2017, Nomiku aimed to further simplify the sous vide experience with the launch of the Nomiku Sous Chef Meal delivery program, designed to eliminate any remaining barriers to entry. This launch coincided with an investment round that included Samsung Ventures, leading to a partnership with the Samsung Family Hub 2.0 program, integrating Nomiku into their smart kitchen ecosystem. However, the company is now inactive.
