Munily addresses the challenges of access control in Latin American gated communities by streamlining the interaction between security guards, residents, and administrators. Traditionally, security guards manually verify visitor identities and contact residents via often-unreliable intercom systems, leading to delays and inefficiencies.

Munily offers a solution through a connected app and tablet system. When a visitor arrives, the security guard uses the tablet to capture an image of the visitor's ID and selects the resident's apartment. The resident then receives an instant notification via the app, allowing them to approve or deny access. Furthermore, Munily has implemented a QR code system where residents generate unique codes through WhatsApp, which visitors present to security guards for quick and easy scanning, further accelerating the entry process.
