Make School aimed to revolutionize higher education for the 21st century. Their bachelor's degree program integrated liberal arts, computer science fundamentals, software development skills, and character development, all strategically designed to equip students for thriving careers as software engineers, product managers, or entrepreneurs. Graduates found employment at leading tech companies such as Facebook, Google, Apple, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and Lyft.

Make School strived to make college accessible to a diverse student body, with a significant portion of students from underrepresented minority groups and low-income backgrounds. The innovative tuition model involved students paying a percentage of their future earnings after securing employment, creating a direct alignment of incentives between the institution and its students. The project was backed by investors including Learn Capital, Y Combinator, Mitch Kapor, Alexis Ohanian, and Tim Draper.
