A significant portion of a billing team's daily tasks, approximately 80%, involves following up on insurance claims via phone calls, with each call taking an average of 30 minutes. LunaBill aims to streamline this process through automation.

Since launching in July, LunaBill has secured $764,000 in contracted Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), with $428,000 already generating live revenue and the remaining portion scheduled to go live by January 2026. Customers have reported a tenfold increase in the number of claims followed up per biller within the first week of implementation. The company boasts a 100% conversion rate from pilot programs to paying customers, having automated over 50,000 calls and established partnerships with leading healthcare organizations such as UC health systems, Mayo Clinic, and Experian Health.

The founding team brings extensive experience to the table. Suhail is a serial entrepreneur with over three years of experience in the healthcare sector, including operating a medical billing company with a substantial client base. David previously founded Skiesoft, a prominent healthcare AI scribe company in Taiwan, utilized by a large number of healthcare professionals. He also has experience as a data scientist at UCSF, where he developed models for auditing medical coding accuracy. Yash has a research background at various hospital systems, including Mayo Clinic.
