GiveMeTap operates as a social enterprise with a core mission: ensuring access to clean drinking water for everyone, regardless of location. The organization designs and sells stainless steel water bottles, with each purchase directly funding five years of clean water access for an individual in Africa. Furthermore, GiveMeTap bottle owners gain access to a network of participating cafes and shops offering free tap water, promoting hydration on the go without barriers.
Beyond providing sustainable hydration solutions, GiveMeTap actively develops and maintains water projects in remote villages. Local water committees are established to oversee the upkeep of these projects, ensuring long-term sustainability and community ownership. To date, GiveMeTap has positively impacted communities in Namibia, Malawi, and Ghana, bringing clean water access to these regions for the first time.
