FlowDeploy was designed to streamline the management of data analysis pipelines for bioinformaticians. Specifically tailored for bioinformaticians, FlowDeploy imposed minimal restrictions on pipeline construction and management, provided that established bioinformatics workflow managers like Nextflow or Snakemake were utilized. The system aimed to mitigate common pitfalls such as unnecessary cloud spending and inadvertent data breaches, while also reducing the risk of accidental credential sharing.
