Cheqout was designed as a mobile point-of-sale (POS) solution tailored for brick-and-mortar businesses. It aimed to empower both waitstaff and retail employees to efficiently manage orders and process payments directly from mobile devices. The envisioned system operated as a hybrid model, drawing inspiration from the seamless customer experience of the Apple Store and the mobile payment convenience of WeChat Pay. Cheqout intended to leverage QR code technology, enabling both staff and customers to use their own devices to complete transactions, streamlining the payment process and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
