ArchiLabs is developing an AI-powered co-pilot specifically tailored for architects. This innovative tool aims to dramatically accelerate the design process, enabling architects to achieve a tenfold increase in design speed through the use of simple AI prompts, thereby minimizing the time spent on repetitive and tedious tasks.

The founders, Brian and William, connected at Carnegie Mellon, both bringing personal experiences of frustration with the new construction process. Brian, with his background in a tech-enabled homebuilding factory, identified the design iteration process as a significant impediment. Similarly, William encountered comparable challenges while constructing homes in Texas. Recognizing the advancements in AI reasoning models, Brian and William saw a substantial opportunity to address the numerous pain points in the design phase. Their vision is to refine existing models to create a superior new construction design experience, with the ambition of surpassing established players like Autodesk, a $60 billion company.
