Aklimate aimed to empower enterprises to monitor and decrease emissions within their supply chains. The core concept involved offering carbon management tools to suppliers at no cost. In return, these suppliers would provide their crucial emissions data to the enterprise. This model essentially positioned Aklimate as a provider of a streamlined, accessible carbon tracking solution, akin to a 'Watershed-lite,' but specifically tailored for and distributed among an enterprise's network of suppliers. The goal was to facilitate comprehensive emissions tracking and reduction strategies across the entire supply chain ecosystem.
