Aidy

Aidy is a mobile application designed to empower individuals living with chronic health conditions, initially focusing on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), including Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. The app provides a user-friendly platform for logging symptoms, dietary intake, and treatment regimens. By leveraging clinical indices, Aidy effectively tracks disease severity and identifies trends over time, offering users a comprehensive understanding of their condition's progression.

Aidy excels at uncovering correlations between diet, treatment adherence, and symptom manifestation. This capability equips users with a more detailed and current perspective on their health, complementing the care provided by their clinicians. Max and Peter, the founders, bring diverse healthcare experience to Aidy. Max's background includes public health policy and COVID-19 response work at the Rockefeller Foundation and the United States Senate, while Peter has experience as an ML researcher for biotech companies. Inspired by a friend's struggle with IBD and the lack of suitable mobile support, they recognized the potential of LLMs and structured questionnaires to revolutionize patient empowerment in chronic disease management, leading to the creation of Aidy.
